A variety of exhibitions are ongoing in Guangzhou's Tianhe district, adding some artistic vibes to the district in April.
The exhibition, A Stranger Called Zhou Zixi, displays 12 paintings by artist Zhou Zixi, who sketches with thin paint diluted with lots of oil to show his fantastic dreams. It opens until April 30 on Mondays to Saturdays at the Contemporary Art Center.
From Mucha to Sendak, the Masterpieces of Illustration exhibition brings excellent illustration works to visitors. It's scheduled to last until May 21 on the sixth floor of the Grandview Plaza, and the ticket price stands at 68 yuan (US$ 9.4) for each person.
The exhibition at Hall 2 on the third floor of the Guangdong Museum showcases several calligraphy and paintings donated by Ren Zhenhan. It's going to run through May 19, and the admission is free.
