A map of the distribution of Aedes mosquitoes has been released in response to the risk of high incidence of dengue fever in Guangdong province from June to November. The map indicates the areas of Guangdong province with high density of mosquitoes and larvae. And it is recommended that people take precautions when visiting these areas. There are 15 areas in Guangzhou city on the map.

Dengue fever is a viral disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes, causing an acute illness that typically presents with symptoms such as headache, high fever, exhaustion, severe muscle and joint pain, swollen glands, vomiting and rash.
