Baiyun Mountain, or "White Cloud Mountain," takes its name from the mist that often envelops it after a rain shower. It's popular with hikers, joggers and people enjoying their morning exercise. It has also been a well-known tourist spot throughout Guangzhou's history, with famous historical figures praising its panoramic views.
