Charlie Chaplin's classic silent comedy The Gold Rush is set to return to the big screen across China in a newly restored 4K version, with a new trailer and official poster released. The film is scheduled for re-release on July 25.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Gold Rush, a special centennial screening event was held nationwide on June 26, featuring over 100 showings. The film received overwhelming acclaim, earning praise as a 'must-watch introduction to cinema', and 'a true family classic' with audiences bursting into laughter throughout.

The re-release also features a newly remastered soundtrack, with Chaplin's original score rearranged by contemporary musicians.
